The Seahawks are moving on after a win over the Saints

The Seattle Seahawks have had a losing season, but that didn’t seem to matter as they made their way into the playoffs and have already started winning.

On Saturday, the beat the defending Super Bowl Champions, the New Orleans Saints 41-36. With that win, they move on to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday January 16. The Chicago Bears will host that game in the windy city.

The Seahawks and the Bears have already played this season back on October 17. The Seahawks beat the Bears 23-20 at Soldier Field in what spectators are calling Seattle’s best game of the season. They held the Bears to 307 total yards offensively that game. These two teams have met up in the playoffs before. Back in 2007, the Bears beat the Seahawks in an NFC divisional playoff game 27-24.

Many are hoping for the underdog, the Seattle Seahawks, while others want them out so the “real” teams can win. All that has really done is light a fire under the Seahawks. The Bears are ready to meet again as well. Seattle beat them once and the Bears are ready to show them they shouldn’t have won that game either.

The Packers, ranked No. 6, beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Next up, they will have to face No. 1 Atlanta Falcons this Saturday in Atlanta.
