Sarah Palin’s New TLC Show Big Hit

TLC Sarah Palin's Alaska

Sarah Palin's new show on TLC has been met with mixed reviews

Sarah Palin’s reality TV show drew nearly 5 million viewers on Sunday night for the premier. “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on the TLC network is set up to show the viewers the beautiful state of Alaska, where she was the former governor. It will highlight things like fishing, hunting, dog sledding, glacier climbing and more.

Although there is mixed reviews on if people will watch or continue to watch beyond the first few episodes, Alaska is hoping that the show boosts tourism in the state.

While Palin was a GOP vice presidential candidate, there was a 4% increase in those wanting to pursue Alaska as a destination, according to Kathy Dunn. She is the director of consumer marketing for the Alaska Travel Industry Association.

Others think that the show is going to turn into a Presidential campaign for Palin. Although Palin has not come out and said if she intends to run for president or not.

The show will have eight episodes showing the beauty of Alaska. Since Palin loves her state, there could be no better person to promote it.

In a later episode, Palin is slated to go camping with Kate Gosselin and her 8 kids. Right now “Kate Plus 8” is the most popular on TLC’s schedule.
