Jillian Michaels, 36, has announced on Friday that she is leaving NBC’s show “Biggest Loser.” Michaels has been a trainer on the show since 2004, although she left in 2006, but later returned. She is known on the show as the tough talking, even screaming trainer with a heart. She really does desire change to happen for every contestant.

Michaels says that she is leaving for personal reasons. She used Twitter to spread the word saying, “I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.”

The show “Biggest Loser” has already found and hired a replacement for Michaels. Michaels says she will stay through the end of the season and finish out her contract. Season 11, which starts in January, will be her final season. They will use Michaels’ final season to introduce and launch the new trainer.

Rumors are circulating that Michaels suffers from endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Both conditions make it difficult, if not impossible, to get pregnant.

Also in an interview in “Women’s Health” magazine Michaels said she was afraid to get pregnant and ruin her rock hard bod. So Michaels will be adopting, but not just for physical reasons, she also said she likes the idea of adoption, “When you rescue something, it’s like rescuing a part of yourself.”
