The town of Celebration, Florida is a Disney designed town located just 5 miles away from Walt Disney World.

The town, just 14 years old, was designed by Walt Disney itself. It has been described as similar to “Pleasantville,” a movie in which two teenagers find themselves inside a perfect 1950’s style T.V. show. It has also been compared to a type of “Stepford Wives” project as well with it’s well manicured lawns and environment always looking pristine.

The town was developed in the late 80’s as a “wonderful residential town.” Residents fell in love with it quickly and in 1996 began moving in to the new town. Since that time, this town has been rather quiet with no incidents, especially no homicides, with a population of only about 11,000 people.

Matteo Giovanditto, 58, was found dead in his condo when a neighbor came looking for him after the Thanksgiving weekend. His death has been classified as a homicide. No details have been released as the investigation continues.

Giovanditto’s black 2008 Chevrolet Corvette was found in Kissimmee, Florida after someone called in a tip to the tip line, but authorities do not know who took the car at this time.

Police are offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person who murdered the man.
